New loot patch coming in today (around 4pm central according to Smed).....hopefully I will finally be able to find items so I can learn more craftables and finally join you folks as a "productive" member......I have yet to meet you folks in game because i desire to be a viable asset rather than using you all as a crutch.................please Sony, let this be the fix that allows us all to enjoy the game

Yes it happened.

Not sure why you didn't see anything unless you were in an overpopulated area.

Loot is spawning inside containers, they added need items, and the spawn rate for items laying around was tweaked a bit.

Logged in this morning and I see what you're saying. Didn't find any loot in almost 30 min except 1 empty water bottle.

Last night things were respawning within 10 minutes or so, not sure what happened between then and now.

The new issue would be that the metal door and gate they "fixed" can now disappear so players can walk right through without doing any damage to them at all...

Ya, gotta say I am rather disappointed with the "loot fix". I just spent about 2 hours searching small camps on my way to cranberry, as well as about 45 minutes of that time in cranberry. all i found was 1 can of food and 2 stagnant waters.......They need to totally revamp loot in the game, not just mess with the timers. What they did on their dev servers just is not working with a populated server. So now i sit logged out on a hill across the lake from cranberry with the idea that I may log in later and have another look in town then, but, alas, I am not too optimistic...............and if I ate this many berries in real life, I would never leave the portajohn (lol)

Many, many reddit pots about container loot is still broken.
