I have a question since you are still playing it.

Though I know F2P is coming out, a lot of people are telling me it might be a good idea to purchase the game BEFORE F2P that way you get grandfathered with perks?

Is that true? And if I buy the game today, will I be able to play today or will it all reset for F2P next week?

if you buy the game and register a key today you should be able to start playing today. You should get the 30 days from the initial purchase of the game. You can still have a sub with the f2p model so not much will change there.

And you will receive the perks for being a box purchaser. To me the biggest of which is 12 character slots. F2P player will only have 2(more purchasable through cash shop).

Yea I think its better to get the box right now to get grandfathered in and then later I can sub for other reasons.

You can also work your way into some CREDD, and not pay a dime out of your pocket too! Which is something I will be looking into doing personally if I can spend enough time in WS outside of SWTOR.
