A few posts on Reddit have said that buying the Advanced Riding Skill (level 40 riding skill) is currently bugged. If you right-click to purchase, the vendor takes your money but doesn't give you the skill. Since this costs 50g, it's a pretty expensive bug.

An alternative to buying the skill is to left-click the skill and then press the Purchase button. I haven't verified if this works but someone on Reddit said it did.

Thank you for the heads up. There are a few of us that should be 40 within the next couple of days, and would have bought this.

Seems they fixed this in a patch, so no worries anymore.
