Worried About Raid Times
Worried About Raid Times
So when I decided to join Grievance I didn't even think about what raid times would/could be. Silly me of course. Now that I've thought more and more about it due to the game's release I am afraid my available times will not coincide with any of the raid groups' schedules.
Since I will be on Arizona time, I'm afraid that, in all honesty, raiding on a CST schedule will not be possible unless its super late. How many raid groups will we have and when are raid times usually chosen/voted on?

Re: Worried About Raid Times
Typically raids are set in the CST time zone and are scheduled in the 7pm-10pm cst time frame, but I can't speak for certain for Exile raid plans.
Re: Worried About Raid Times
Yeah that was my worry when I read further into raid times. 7pm CST is a very bad raid time for me. That gives me a 5pm or 6pm start time depending on the time of the year, and that won't happen for me
. This will be my issue once we start raiding.

Re: Worried About Raid Times
I know we are a bit early, but how often are raids typically and what days?
Re: Worried About Raid Times
Probably 3 days a week. Days will not be chosen until closer to figuring out everyones schedules and best days yadda yadda.daHob wrote:I know we are a bit early, but how often are raids typically and what days?

Re: Worried About Raid Times
I am hoping this will be like others and we can swap people in and out in the middle. I found a counterpart on the east coast that could not raid late and him and I would split raids. There is always the chance that we may have the numbers to run multiple raids and work the lockouts in that form. I would be willing to help lead/run late raids if we do find those numbers because I might not be able to raid early either. But for now I must say I really enjoy the grievance family

Re: Worried About Raid Times
hi!
I have been a little concerned about this aspect myself- being in CA... but will give it time to see how it shakes out. Looks like there may be a bunch of us in the same situation.

Re: Worried About Raid Times
Yes, Grievance has been such a great group of people, and I really do hope we can get enough people together to have several raid teams (according to the roster it looks like we easily have a 40 man raid). The only problem with running raids with different start/stop times is when we come together for 40 man one of the raid teams will be forced to raid off schedule
.

Re: Worried About Raid Times
I can from being part of Greivance SWTOR the raid 7:30-10 cst. Being in AZ I also find it a little early but it's also nice getting done at 8pm and having some time to wind down before bed. Basically on raid nights I come home grab a quick snack make some coffee change and raid. I'm not sure if we will have a weekend night but we did in SWTOR Tues, WED(ALT RUNS), THURSDAY, Saturday. You did not have to show up for all days and they did rotate people in and out. So normally if you sat one night you were in the next and so on. It was a pretty unselfish system and they used a dkp for attendance and kills so if you showed up on time and had to sit you still received a small DKP boost just for showing up locked and loaded.
I am thinking they have something similar planed for us and we might hear more about it in our meeting the 20th for Dominion.

Re: Worried About Raid Times
What I would love to see happen is that we have enough PST people that we can have a raid time for them. Just need to have at least 20 additional people from the time zone (or want to play at that time) and some people that are willing to lead the way to victory!
