Thanks for posting this, as I hadn't seen some of this information. I'm really glad they're sticking to their guns about the difficulty. It will make completing a raid an actual achievement, and not, "oh darn it's Tuesday I need to log in and kill x,y, and z."

This was an awesome write up of the ama. I love how it starts with the Gaffer laying it out straight.

So agree... I am hoping to recapture some of that nostalgia from EQ when organizing and achieving a raid was really something special. I mean I can count on one hand how many times I cleared specific planes (I stopped playing in '01) .... after playing for 2 years.... can't say that about many games...
