So after much rushing around this afternoon trying to reserve the guild name it finally went through. However, it went through and the guild name was already taken.

Now, before we go through a bunch of stuff with Carbine to get our Name freed up since the name is Trademarked. Did anyone in the guild try to be nice and reserve the name for us. No hard feelings, just would really like to know if we havbe to go through all of the avenues to free up our name.

Thanks guys, I do hope one of you have it, but if not..we will still get it.

I figured something like this may happen. To my understanding the guild name reservation is applicable to all servers until a server is utilized by the person who reserved it. This meaning whichever faction leader reserves it first has to start the guild on "xyz" server before the other faction can use the same guild name on a different server.

I honestly was going to try but figured someone was already on it. I got in relatively early and would have had a good chance. Sorry.

I couldn't get Grievance but I did get Grievance Global Gaming at about 7PM Last night Est... It's yours if you want it otherwise I'll let it drop.

Sadly, when Fazed checked this am the Grievance name really did not save. However we have a screenshot showing the countdown, and the timed out countdown so with the trademark, and those screenshots I have faith we will free up the name. Just need to figure out who to e-mail.

Figured we can maybe wait a few days until the whole name things gets worked out, and see if anyone who indeed tried to get Grievance actually did get it. If it turns out none of the guild members actually reserved it, we will have to get Carbine to hand it over. hehe

From what I have read, once saved its saved for 14 days on all servers. So even if its used by who reserved it, not sure we can use it for 14 days once its been used. This is kinda a mess lol. They really should have given us a server list and let us reserve names on the server we were rolling lol

I've been thru every MMO launch in well over a decade now and this whole Wildstar name reservation that Carbine came up with is by far and away the stupidest, most poorly thought out perk ever. They should honestly redo the whole damn thing, announce server names and let people reserve names and guild names on "x" server. I find it funny that it reserves names globally but we are region locked.
