So these are spread all over Nexus and can sometimes be soloed and go all the way up to requiring a raid to complete. Many scale to the groups size as well allowing for fun regardless of who is there. This is just a small list of the ones I'm aware of and which faction can do them.

Metal Maw - In the Draken and Chua starting areas there's a level 9ish raid boss to kill. No set up to doing it just attack him when he is up.

Big Rocky ManDudeBro - In Algorac there's is a clearing in the southwest of the zone. Straight up fight the guy.

Air Elemental - In Galeras there is a spawnable Air Elemental boss that is known to drop weapons that are level appropriate.

KV attack - Outside of KV is a quest that leads to an event where you go with a team of Dominion to subjugate the Osun

Freebot Cult - In Whitevale near the squig is a cave of freebots who worship a giant robot. You can activate the giant bot and do his challenge. Afterwards don't forget to enter the cave in his body that leads to a rare that drops a costume fez.

Metal Maw Prime - high above the Eldan facility is a revamped Metal Maw raid fight for level 30ish players

Earth Elemental Event - In Wildrun there is an event near Sanctuary of the Sword Maiden that involves killing earth elementals

Hellrose Bowl - In Malgrave you can take a raid to compete in the Protostar televised Hellrose Bowl. It's 4 quarters and an overtime session of fun.

Meteor Crash - Near the entrance to Malgrave there is sometimes a meteor shower that brought forms of life that need to be wiped out within a time limit.

Push Into Grimvault - at the border of where the strain starts to corrupt Nexus is an event to help push it back.

I know the Honeyhive King is a 20M health raid boss in the 2nd zone the Dominion go to when questing, for the life of me I can't remember the name of the zone though.

See its stuff like all of this that makes me utterly love Wildstar. Its been so long since I've seen a game that had face breaking open world mobs for players to take on. Very fun, I just wish Early Access was here lmao
