Cheers for that will save a lot of time as I often don't think to look for amps until I'm ready to move on from the area.

Something I learned from this is that both starting areas have amps!

I will say I hope this helps. I was looking at this actually last beta weekend but I couldn't find any of the 2nd tier amps for my Medic. I may have just missed stuff but I couldn't find them.

I'm not a huge fan of needing super rare drops for many of the best amps. The system in general has some flaws with none of the quests for AMPS providing any Spell Slinger Assault AMPS at all. If anyone comes across any AMP drops in their journeys that aren't available through the quests or vendors could they please post them? I was grinding in Malgrave half the weekend while I trained myself to play with a naga mouse because I heard rumor that the SS AMPS trigger fingers and Power Surge drop in the zone and got a single medic AMP drop the whole weekend and even then it turned out to be available through faction vendors. So if any of you come across either of these AMPS in your adventures i'd sure appreciate it if you could post where it dropped and the mob type or challenge that netted it. Though I know i go hour or longer before looking in my bag to see what i've collected so you might not even realize where you found a given AMP.

Looking over the main Wildstar forums it would appear challenge missions and taking supply boxes is a good way to find AMPS but I suspect the blue amps are going to require a gold box. I'm not one for selling for stuff I find that guildies have been grinding like crazy before so i'll be sure to shout out if/when I find AMPS that any of you on the exile crew may need.

Anyone know where to acquire all the pvp recipes? Or do you literally only acquire them from pvp? The wife got 2 of them last time we played and wasn't even sure where they came from. Just like to know for sure.

I know there was a vendor in Thayd next to the pvp gear vendors that sold most of the pvp amps...unless they removed him.
