If you remind your q and e keys then stuns are really annoying. I found that if you just rebind your strafe keys that you can now get out of stuns. In my case I rebound to a and d which was no big deal since I use the mouse to turn.

I think the new system isn't really any better then the old one. It is interesting because you need more keys to do it. I find it mostly annoying and really doesnt bring any kind of additional fun to my gameplay. Also one thing that really gets me is depending on your gear being stuck in a telegraph will still most likely kill you even if you hold the right key.

It took me a day or two to get used to the new system, now that I've had the weekend to experience it I'm not sure if I think its really better than the old one but it is what it is

From my view its better only because mashing the f key was a pain. With the new system I think they need to make the key you have to press blink or something to draw a little more attention to it.

It works perfectly for me because as an avid FPS gamer I always bind my strafe keys to A&D. every, game.

can you clarify how this works or what buttons you have to press to get out of X crowd control? I always use AD for strafing, but I also rebind Q and E to certain abilities. Is that going to cause me problems?

No that should cause you any issues. When you get stunned the game will popup a picture of w,a,s,d only there will be only one letter that you see. You have to press and hold that key to get out of stun quicker. Hopefully that makes sense.

I find it interesting that they were trying to avoid some people having an advantage by making it a key you have to hold down. They didn't actually solve anything, especially if they let you rebind it. Most of the people that were making the tap F breakout easy by binding it to a certain key can also do so with holding a button down. I haven't had any problems with the new mechanic (or old one) and I haven't bound it to a special key on my keyboard, but if they continue to make it not worthwhile to not have some sort of hotkey with my keyboard I will most likely do it in the end.

The new system makes it actually harder for me since I use a g13 gamepad and made a spam f button. Now I actually have to work to break fee
