They sent out a wave of beta invites late last night. I had no such luck, but maybe one of you did.

That's the article that announced it was some interesting dev information hidden inside. There is talk with making deal with partners for key distribution so there may be ways to get into the beta other than luck down the road. It also lists some percentages of the world, but mentioned the whole world was included this wave. They even are talking about how long one should expect an email from the time wave announcements come out. They plan to do a stress test wave and then another winter beta wave of invites in the near future, but remind us plans change.

All in all a great bit of information about the process if you can sift through all the posts.
