Some French site posted three videos on housing. Don't worry about the text, the videos have no speaking so you'll understand what's going on.
I recommend watching in HD (the options are on the top right) and full screen! It will really give you the feel of playing the game.
The first one shows how you clear your land of trees and creatures.
The second shows you building the house and choosing the exterior.
The third shows the decorating of the inside of the house.

I'm a housing fanatic and honestly that is a big reason I end up not staying in games long that don't have them. I won't even put a number of how many different houses I have in EQ2 but after almost 10 years I'm racked up a few. Most fully decorated...so I'm a little excited about Wildstar.

Well this definitely has enough going on to satisfy anyone who loves home decorating, that's for sure!
I have a feeling it won't be cheap, so I may make this more of an end-game activity for me. I guess it will depend on how easy it is to earn gold.
