Just wondering how many people will be participating in some form of PvP in Wildstar. Right now there will be Battlegrounds, Arenas, and Warplots(40v40). Since my first gaming love is FPS I'm very comfortable with PvP. I've never been a big death match arena person, but BG's and Warplots sound like a good time. Of course open world PvP is always fun. I know some people don't like PvP, but in a group of friends it can be a very fun experience.

I am all for structured pvp, but it all depends on how much time I need to commit to raiding. If I can balance both, I will.

For sure raiding will be my priority, but over the years pvping has helped me be better at pve. Like most people hated the faction champions fight in ToC. I liked it . Plus sometimes you just need to nuke someone with a pulse

Not a fan of arenas but I like battlegrounds and the warplots sound fun.

having come from FPS games before my MMO career, I am with you on the nuking of other players.

Speaking of which, has there been any word on whether we'll be rolling on a PvE or PvP server, or is that still being decided? (Kinda hoping for PvP, myself.)

I enjoy structured pvp so I can see myself doing some arena and warplot pvp for sure. I've never cared for open world pvp in mmos so I wont be going that route at all. My primary focus being pve raiding though.

I enjoy instanced PvP (battlegrounds) and will most likely check out Warplots. Arena type combat is definitely not for me though. I really hope that Wildstar, unlike WoW, doesn't keep changing classes raiding ability to balance out Arenas. Hopefully they do separate pvp tweaks from PvE.

That being said.. I would imagine Grievance wouldn't go PvP server because that doesn't foster, imo, a well rounded community decision. Raiding has nothing to do with killing people in a free-for-all format in the open world and many many people don't want to "explore" or "experience" the game while having the chance at being ganked at any point in time. To clarify, I enjoy PvP myself but I wouldn't want to subject people to that kind of environment unless EVERYONE was pvp-savvy and wanted it. I know that isn't the case though and it isn't a deal breaker for me by any means. I too primarily care about raiding with PvP as a side option on my Wildstar buffet.

From what I've heard both Wildstar guilds will be on PVE servers. I have played on PvP servers before, but I do understand it's not for everyone. Since my main focus will be raiding, my PvP will be limited to BG's and hopefully warplots. I'm sure I'll also find one reason or another to pick a fight with the other faction.

Warplots intrigue me! I can't wait to try them out.
