Guild Name Reservation Taken? Alright who has it?

Perhaps they should have somewhat did it how SWTOR did it... Allow you to create a Guild/Group on their website based on Faction with an assigned server chosen during creation... And allow member accounts to join them... All Pre-Launch... That way peeps get their Guild names reserved by Server and by Faction before launch...

I can see why they did it the way they did it... Twas just easier and took less manpower to set it up the way they did it... Almost like they did it just to shut folks up who wanted it, without having to spend too much time developing a more complicated way of implementing it... Keeping their workforce more focused on the final product for release and less on little side projects...

announce server names and let people reserve names and guild names on "x" server. I find it funny that it reserves names globally but we are region locked.

Agreed!! I know that people are saying "oh but what about the people who got their names, and what about the ones who sat at their computer for 6 hours." Well, I am one who sat at my computer for 6 hours, and indeed got my name. However, Someone has our guild name, and not one us, several other established guilds do not have their name. They said 15,000 people were logged in trying to reserve at the same time. Each one of those 15,000 people were able to also reserve a guild name. We all know how the MMO community is, while there are a lot of awesome people, there are also a lot of people who would think...hey, I really don't like this guild, or hey, this guild is popular I am just going to reserve their name so they can't get it.

I really dont care about the name reserve, I think they need to rethink the guild name reserve. It should be 1 person reserving, with 5 or so accounts under them to prove they can actually have a guild. They should also be choosing the server the guild is rolling on, so there is no..oh we have to wait 14 days toi make the other guild...or we would have to change one of the names afgter 14 days..They make it way too easy to form guilds now a days... What a mess!

I agree with Nionya. The reservations could have gone a lot better.

If it was a truly first come, first server, names should have been reserved WHEN you pre-ordered the game.... but that's just me.

I think we are not the only guild with this issue. Maybe on reddit theres sonething about this and the more the merrier for them to fix this we should try and go viral
