So I realize Wildstar is still months away, but since it looks like we're starting to speculate/set up guild systems to some extent, I thought I'd post this anyway.
Carbine has said on several occasions that the raids will be designed to be super tough. In light of that info, I'm curious what kinds of raid policies Grievance is going to have - frequency/duration of raids, possible existence of signups, etc. etc.
I hope everyone's ready to wipe a lot

Well that would be up to the Guild Leader or the Raid Leader of Wildstar. They would set the rules of what they want to do. I think I am right on that if not Kannon can correct me.

Aye, I was hoping for some input from them. (Do we have an Exile guild leader yet?)

Far too early for answers to those questions, the guilds don't even have charters in place yet.
Keep your head on a swivel.

Just a heads up on how the process works cause some of you are curious =)
- Guild Leader selected for each faction/Guild planned for WS
- Both Guild Leaders will explore and figure out the different nuances concerning the game and how it affects the Guilds
- Guild Leaders will then get together and hammer out a common Charter that covers all Grievance WS Guilds. This charter will define loot rules, raider qualifications, etc....
- Each Guild Leader will be assigned an XO
- Each Guild Leader will get with their individual XO and start filling Officer slots (primarily the RL & RO positions)
- During the Council Meeting prior to the launch of the game, each Guild Leader involved will petition the Council for their Guilds to become official Grievance Guilds.
Hope this helped a bit.

Oh, for some reason I had it in my head that there was some sort of overarching charter for these things. This is what I get for making threads while still semi-asleep...

That was informative, thanks. I'll be keeping an eye out for updates.

Both Killam and Padraic are correct. It is way too early to set anything in stone, and we are just starting to pull everything together that we need. Poking and prodding of potential officers has already begun, I can promise you that. And a charter has been started but needs to be discussed among all involved.
What we need is information on how Wildstar raiding works and how they hand out loot in those raids. Is there a master looter option or does everyone get their own specific loot off the mobs? Is it a completely random roll that we have no control over? I just don't know at the moment. I have searched for info on the loot system (among groups I mean) and am coming up dry. If anyone has a tidbit to share I would truly appreciate it.
I know that I am not a fan of sign ups for raids but if the officer corps finds that it is necessary, it will be implemented. I like to have people show up, try to get newer people involved and give everyone a chance to raid during the week. There might be nights where we have to ask people to sit and we try to get them a spot on the next raid. Now that all depends on what we are working on, if we need particular set ups for certain bosses. It is really just too early to say but I want all who want to raid to have that chance.
Sorry if I rambled on a bit lol

Nah, your "rambling" was just the kind of thing I was looking for. Thanks
