Guild Name Resolution???

Have we come to a resolution with Carbine on this issue yet? I understand we aren't trying to rock the boat (and me only joining Grievance recently should not be one to rock it), but I feel as if something should perhaps be done publicly? Maybe the individual that took it will see our public request and apologize for reserving the name, or maybe this person is griefing (get it) us, or maybe Carbine will be more likely to act on a trademark infringement if the public is aware of the issue and the poor nature of their guild reservation policy.

I feel as if the person who took the guild name will be someone who will create a character on the server we plan to play on, and create his/her guild on that server in order to force us to a different server or force us to use a different name.

I know I'm new and really have no investment in the guild name (other than everyone is is freakin' AWESOME and I love it), and I know the officers are working on it, I just am curious to find out what is going on with our name because I love you guys so much.

PS: I reserved the guild name Grievence with an e just in case.

I was just wondering if there were any updates on the issue of the guild name reservation.

If its not resolved by launch, would something like Grievance Dominion and Grievance Exile work on respective servers (TBD)?

A couple names came up during the meeting last night.

Exile: Grievance Gaming
Dominion: Dark Grievance

And I think later on, we're going to ask GMs to change our names instead of disbanding - fingers crossed.

We will most likely start with the names Novatek has mentioned.

We are still waiting to hear back from Carbine about our Trademark. Doubtful it will free up in time, but I am sure we will still try for the name Grievance when the time comes, and if it does not work, we will go with Grievance Gaming for Exile and Dark Grievance for Dominion.
