What're everyone's must-have addons for launch?
Re: What're everyone's must-have addons for launch?
Where do you guys go to download/install the addons? Do they have a dedicated client like wow matrix for example?

Which add on gives you the dotted line to your selected target or quest? I need to grab that one.

It's Called TrackMaster. It actually works pretty well. There is a another addon that works with it call TrackMaster: Subdue that will track your weapon when you get disarmed. that is very helpful. Also TrackMaster: Farming adds tracking resource nodes.daHob wrote:Which add on gives you the dotted line to your selected target or quest? I need to grab that one.

1. Biji Plates - must have as the stock name plates are horrendous.
2. Aura Mastery - I find this essential for anyone planning to raid. I've found it extremely beneficial for adding visual queues for on crit abilities like the warrior's breaching strikes or medic's dual shock, etc... Also can track cooldowns, and a myriad of other abilities. Takes some tinkering but well worth it in the end. There is also a wiki codes page for each class that contains some good ones for that class. Can't link to it here at work, but should be easy to find.
3. JunkIt - simple, can set for selling at vendors and repairing, and easily customizable for what you want to sell.
4. Trackmaster - track weapon when subdued/disarmed. Not manadatory by any means, but really why not.

I'm having a hard time understanding the deadlock addon, what exactly does it change??
I can get you tons of bubblewrap
Re: What're everyone's must-have addons for launch?
Only been using BijiPlates so far but a couple of the addons mentioned sound really good (FOV, Trackmaster).
What I really want is an addon that will allow me to zoom out further. It's hard to place things on your house when you have to jump to even see part of the roof. Oh and I also NEED something like Auctioneer

What Deadlock does is allow for free camera movement by simply moving the mouse around that can be toggled on/off, something like TERA or any action-oriented MMO out there. No more having to hold down the right mouse button to camera look while moving.Trygveseim wrote:I'm having a hard time understanding the deadlock addon, what exactly does it change??
The Calamity Awaits...

Re: What're everyone's must-have addons for launch?
I'm having trouble understanding this too. I move with a logitech marble trackball by holding down the left and right buttons. Right mouse button + left is move forward and control direction via trackball. To strafe, I hit another button on the left rather than the standard move forward. If I want to only move the camera, I hit the left mouse button without the right button (or basically stop holding right button) and then the trackball only moves the camera rather than character turn.

Ok, I think I get it. If it's like Tera -- the mouse is centered and you have to aim by moving the camera rather than the mouse cursor. Not sure why people would want this with the telegraph system. How would it work with free format spells where you aim an effect except to toggle out of it. I don't think it's for me.
