I am really excited for Wildstar to go live.
I have been thinking about this since the end of closed beta.
I have heard some conversations on TS3 about not rushing to L50. I'm incline to say the same, but with that in mind, neither do I want to tarry to long and risk those that do advance fast getting bored.
I don't know if the Wildstar ?council? what do I call you guys, has thought about this. But I would like a clear, let's shoot for being ready for blah blah raid, by blah blah date. A clear written and voiced announcement. So hopefully there won't be any surprises and there is an established timeline.
This is my 2 cents. But would like to hear what everyone else, plus the ?council? is thinking.

Re: Looking ahead to the Live Game
Not entirely too sure we would want to put a time for when we should be raid ready.
I think we all work at so many different paces it would be tough.
I know in my history of being in Grievance players have always leveled at their own pace. There are always a few that get in there with their Red Bull and play for 3 days straight to hit max level, but the ratio to casual players is pretty small. I have seen that when people reach the max level the guild is always there to help them in whatever needs to be done to get "raid ready"
With that being said, my thoughts are this, if you want to raid you will get a raider rank, in turn the raid leader will know you are interested, so you will never get left behind in the dust so to speak. Take your time, level as you feel comfortable, end game will be there, you will never be left out. It'll all work out, promise!

Re: Looking ahead to the Live Game
Mae, I appreciate the concern. However, I do not intend to give a hard date before release. I do not want people to feel as if they are being forced into a timetable to level. We will revisit our available raid ready folks on a very regular basis and when we begin to have enough folks nearing the raid ready mark we will give a date and time for our first raid. As always, we are a no pressure type of family guild. We will raid when we have enough people ready to raid.
Re: Looking ahead to the Live Game
Personally I know I will wind up blowing thru the leveling content and start working on my Genetic Archives attunement asap, but thats just me. We have tons of folks playing both factions and tons of time to enjoy endgame content so I say everyone should play at their own pace and enjoy the ride, there will be plenty of time for us to tackle Genetic Archives and then Datascape later on

8-Bit Assassin is the coolest person you will ever meet on the internet so follow him on Twitter,Google+ and GTGN. Don't forget to sub to his YouTube Channel and Twitch Channel as well!
Re: Looking ahead to the Live Game
I plan to enjoy the game content on my way to max level... I want to enjoy the story and feel immersed in it's plot... Rushing is not an option, because why play an MMO Role Playing Game only to skip through it's content? The point of playing RPG's is for the enjoyment of it's story and quests on the way up... I may rush through some repeated content with alts, but my first toon will always be doing most zones content as I level... If I wanted a game where rushing to the end was my goal, that would be FPS's or non-RPG games...
I do plan on participating in raids when I get to the end eventually, but it's not my primary goal while leveling... My primary goal is to have fun leveling alongside my guildmates, and hopefully while teamed with them... Leveling along side like-minded friends is always preferable to soloing imo...

Looking forward to being able to log in to redeem my beta key. Log-in hasn't been working since 11 p.m last night so I can cash in my key and start downloading it. Still down at the moment.
