Wildstar Addons
Re: Wildstar Addons
This is the rule of thumb: be the change you want to see in your community. I love dps meters, because they help me play better/harder... but just like all good tools, they can be used by tools for general toolishness. Tools: use one, but don't be one.

Re: Wildstar Addons
I combed thru the posts in this thread but didn't see anything definitive explaining where to install the addons for Wildstar. If someone could direct me to the proper folder it would be much appreciated

If you use the curse client it does it for you
Otherwise I have no idea.

Love this!jspapage wrote:Tools: use one, but don't be one.
Yeah I love dps meters for one reason I want to know if I am personally not putting out good dps that way I can work to get better. I don't need to be number one but I want to make sure I am staying in line with what encounters actually need.
Re: Wildstar Addons
This is one of a very few acceptable whispers between two guildies regarding a dps meter:
NotTater: Yo Taterlicious, I noticed that you are rocking them deepz. After this raid, could you help me with my build?
Tater: Sure homeslice, I can show you what I'm running.
NotTater: Word!

Re: Wildstar Addons
So, I just installed the Curse Client (omg this is amazing for managing mods in games) but it doesn't seem to be recognizing Wildstar. Any tips on how to get it to pick it up?
edit: figured it out lol

Re: Wildstar Addons
Here is a list of the ones I use.
Deadlock: Sets Mouse Look. Love this one.
ColorPicker: Used with Deadlock to change the color of the Target icon when in Mouse Look.
JunkIt: MUST HAVE! It lets you Repair & Auto sell when you hit a vendor.
Harvestplates: Puts a nameplate onto harvest nodes. Have to get it from the offical forums. It is not on Curse yet.
IconLoot: Puts what you loot on the bottom left of the screen. Helps you keep track of what & how much you loot.
Lootify: Puts a big pop-up at the top of your screen if you look any thing Blue or above so you don't miss it.
MemoryLazy: Helps you with the Simon Says puzzles. (Just like Ogre'Lazy for WoW)
Moveable Frames: Lets you move/hide pretty much any UI frame.
NavMate: Gives A LOT of map & mini-Map functions.
Radar: Tracks either/both Lore & harvesting nodes that are with in like 300 of you.
StinkyHintArrow: Lets you keep the arrow that points to the quest up. It is broke atm though.
WhisperSound: Playes a sound when you get a tell.
