Colorblind Options

Post by Lexander » Sat Mar 15, 2014 10:46 am

While watching one of the guild streams it was mentioned that colorblind options will be very important for some users. While surfing I found this video posted by a fan of the game showing the options available in game. Hope it helps.

I need more myself. I have no issues between my telegraphs and the enemies. From this video, I saw the enemies telegraph on the ground best with the setting at none. The other 3, I saw self better but could barely make out the enemy ones. The real issue however, is telling the difference between the enemy (red) and a friendly group member heal (green). Unfortunately, this video didn't show how the friendly heal telegraph looks with each setting.

Since I have the most common colorblind (red/green), the 2 issues I'll have to deal with is seeing a red telegraph placed on a green (grassy) surface and trying to tell the difference between red and green telegraphs. At this point, my main hope lies with players creating a nice add-on. I do however appreciate you finding this video, I just wish they showed the group members heal in it.

Telegraphs for heals are now a faint purple which may or may not cause more problems for you.

I am glad for a colorblind option. Because it sucks playing games and not know the color of the area.
