I usually do console gaming communities but i'm making a switch.

My age is 22 and I just started playing Dragons Prophet. I did join a guild but for 2 days now only 2 people were ever online other than myself and the GM was no where to be seen.I am a guardian level 10 currently and just lookin to join a guild that communicates and helps it's members. Also I'm pretty sure my laptop just meets the standards to play because sometimes it lags in game. I have been waiting to play Dragons Prophet since it's BETA but my other laptop couldn't even handle the starting character screen. Anyway my info is in my signature so hope to speak to you guys soon

I don't mean to be offensive but that didn't seem very welcoming. I looked around and someone always says that and makes it very impersonal. Is someone going to contact me about joining into the guild or will get a request when I get online?

None taken, yes eventually there will be others inlcuding the Embassy leader who will stop by and say hi. At that point you will be given permission to our Teamspeak channel and then you can hop on and say hi. :)

I don't have a mic for my computer. I have a headset for my xbox 360

EDIT: I now have teamspeak. Didn't know your mic can be used for it.

I disagree, i think that when someone takes a moment out of their time/schedule to say hi to a new member it does mean something. If this seems trite and/or meaningless, then Grievance may not be right for you.

Our DP Embassy is small, with only a few logging in on a weekly basis. The Leader there will be getting with you soon.

I didn't say it was meaningless I said it was impersonal meaning robotic and/or copy and paste like. If it's practiced or said the same way over and over it isn't really saying "hi" it's more like "oh i might as well post this so the new member feels welcome". But I digress, I do not like ranting based on opinions of two different people. I also mean no disrespect but rather just a view point.

Anyway thank you for your help Steel and I hope to get in touch with said leader whenever he's able. I'm also quite use to small groups of members but it is the new members job to recruit and I will try to recruit for this small section when I am all settled in
