Been looking for a guild that has the potential to fill the WS gaming "needs" of myself and buddies, Venator (a bud) actually found you guys. I've read your recruitment posts, and some comments on said forums, about the approach your community has to gaming. It appears to be very similar to my approach when I was leading guilds i.e help others, patience, pursue endgame content w/o trying to break records, ect.
ATM got a sellslinger (heal geared) and an Engineer that I just leveled (looking to Tank w/ him).
I'm most interested in tanking, was MT/OT on and off from BC-WOTLK in WoW and DCUO. Held officer positions from Paladin class lead in Vanilla WoW, to GM/Raid lead/Officer in BC and beyond.
Was one of the MTs for DCUO which I also raid led when the Guild Leader wasn't present.
I'm 43, served in the U.S.Navy for 4 years Got into D&D in my school days and post navy days. Been online gaming since Vanilla Wow. Played WoW till end of Cata (went from hardcore, Vanilla days, to semi-hardcore/casual raiding ).I took a break from online gaming till I started playing DCUO, which i played for a year. Thats where I met Venator and others. Got interested in WS through some of the DCUO peeps, since im a gamer that likes challenges/ quality content.
Other gaming interests include Historical style strategy games, Fantasy RPG/MMORPG games, and Simulations. Some offline, including board games. i.e Civilization, Hearts of Iron, Axis and Allies, flight sims, ect.
Outside of gaming I'm a history buff of sorts, ancient through modern times. Enjoy a good movie from time to time. Favorite sport to watch/play is Hockey, played in my school years.
