Dominion: Femputer

Hi!
I'm Gouka (main character so far is Femputer) and am playing Dominion in WildStar. As I write this, I'm listening to WildStar's countdown stream on TwitchTV, so please excuse me if I get over-excited in my intro. ;D (Rowsdower? <-- must be said in Final Sacrifice voice) My husband and I have been doing beta and pre-order beta days for WildStar, so we've been looking forward to it for a while. I'm looking for a different kind of group to hang out with in game, though, because he's very much a raider (already in a raiding guild) and I'm casual with not a lot of free time for playing. When I am in game, though, I would like to have a group of friends to hang out with that are not going to pressure me into trying to raid (which I find guilds I'm in with him tend to do) but will have the option of group activities available. (Also I saw the Grievance Gamer Girls section and though girls night out gaming would be awesome... although I didn't see any mention of WS on it yet.)
IRL, I have a full time job managing (and often writing) knowledge documentation for my employer's IT department. I have a second part time job working with a non-profit adult literacy program. It cuts down on my free time by a fair amount, but it's a really good reason to have less free time.
Pen and paper gaming was my gateway into online gaming, and WoTMUD was my gateway into MMOs. I eventually made the move to needing pictures to stare at (:p) and started playing Anarchy Online. Many years and many games later... and here I am. 
The only other game I'm actively playing is ESO. I mostly do crafting (which I am going to try to do in WS as well... although Architect seems pretty daunting. But I must have decor for my house!!).
When I'm not working, gaming or procrastinating cleaning my house, I'm reading (or listening to audiobooks... commutes have become story time), trying to write, watching anime, looking at cute and/or geeky things, finding something to watch on Netflix or Amazon (currently Supernatural... in season 2) or, last but definitely not least, spending time with my husband.
Ok, that's probably more than enough info for an intro post. Also, I just got DCed from game for not doing anything. xD Can't risk that!
