Hello Grievance Members!
I hope this doesn't end up too long, but I tend to ramble some times. I am really excited I found out about you guys today.
My name is Brandon. I am 34. Birthday just passed on the 23rd of this month!
I working in purchasing at a large medical facility. I kind of do double duty on keeping the facility supplied and also handling the medical billings, plus whatever crazy road trip they throw my way at the last minute. Need a 2 ton crane from Harbor Freight Tools an hour away? I got it. 
What else... Umm. I am married to the love of my life (Kayla) and we just celebrated 5 year anniversary this March. She is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me and the source of my happiness. Sorry super cheesy I know, but I really want to get to know you guys and I might as well be open. Sometimes if I am really lucky I can convince her to try a new MMO with me. Currently though, she is hooked on Age of Mythology.
Let's see... I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I got my start with an old Commodore 64 playing Karateka and Archon. I pretty much have owned each console since the original NES. Even the ones that were not a good investment. Looking at you Virtual Boy and 32X. I got hooked on rpgs with Final Fantasy for the NES. Changed my life. I got my first taste of MMOs from Ultima Online. I had never played anything like it. I was hooked. PVE, PVP, Player Housing, it just had it all! I have just enjoyed MMOs from then on. I played Final Fantasy XI for a while when it launched. Taking a Red Mage to max level and full AF was such a personal gaming achievement! Then one fateful day I received a closed beta invite to World of Warcraft.
I am sure many of you can imagine whats next. WoW got its claws in DEEP. I played from beta until launch on the Sargeras server in the top raiding guild on the server. We even achieved a top 10 C'Thun kill in AQ40. I played like it was a job. In hindsight, I may have had a problem haha. I kept at it and raided late into BC. I then stepped away for a while and came back later in Wrath. My guild had moved to another server and most of my friends weren't playing anymore. Which leads to the strange dilemma I have been in since then. Maybe some of you can relate. I have been playing almost every major MMO release that has come along, but consistently I haven't found the right group of like minded people to play with. I mean you name it and I have played it and probably took more than 1 toon to max level. I have at least played every game on the Grievance frontpage, except Archeage. That again is my dilemma. I will almost always end up playing, whatever MMO catches my eye, like it was a very large single player RPG.
Well I am tired of that. I am tired of logging in and not knowing anyone or having anyone to talk to. I am tired of eventually leaving a game because I don't have ingame friends to do things with. I am tired of being a MMO tourist. I want what it seems like Grievance can offer me. A group who just want to play games together. People who want to get to know the person behind the keyboard. Maybe if I am lucky even make friends to play other games with as well.
And just like that I realize that I have veered off into a way too long rant.
Hopefully you guys will be accepting and welcome me into your family. I would love to become a unique and valued member in the future.
