Hello Grievance

I plan to start in the Exiles, but as in most games, I'll probably also play the Dominion at some point.

The MMOs I've played the most is WoW (Sept 2006) and SWTOR (early release). I use lots of addons/macros in WoW so I plan to be proficient in them in Wildstar as well. I find that the standard UI's for MMO's don't allow me to play as I like to which is why I like addons so much. One of the main reasons is that I use a gamepad so I like to setup the bars to mimic it's setup. I mention this since in the past I've been able to help other guild members with setting up addons and macros to improve their experience.

For the next few months I'll be playing a lot during the day since I'm currently unemployed and will remain so till at least late July when I'll be moving from Dallas to Charlotte, NC.

Unlike you, the only macros I ever used for WoW was usually to find a rare-spawn hehe..Oh, and I macro'd my trinkets into my arcane blast during Wrath, I think that is about it. I do know that they can really help with maximizing your damage etc, I just never really looked into it.

I don't use the macros to increase dps, it's more about fitting multiple abilities onto 1 key by using modifiers, or to setup mouseover macros for healing. Since I use a ne52te gamepad instead of the keyboard, the macros allow me to have more abilities at my fingertips.

I'll setup teamspeak and jump on at some point this week to say hello.
