Hi everyone,
I saw the Grievance thread on WildStar Central, and it sounded interesting. I have in the past always ended up in smaller guilds and then find myself in the regrettable situation of having to start all over again when a new game comes along. It's important to me to find a good group of people to play with; finding a new guild is time consuming and kind of stressful. So maybe it's time to look into a multi-gaming community!
I am an experienced MMO player. I started out with Shadowbane and then moved to WoW during open beta where, over the years I have done regular and heroic raiding and some pvp. I have also raided in Rift, and played a number of other MMOs. FFXIV, SWTOR, Warhammer, ESO etc. I usually play a ranged dps and/or healer.
I would very much like to find a close knit, mature group. I'm 40 years old, married, a mother.. I don't particularly feel like playing with LEET e-peen teenagers anymore :p It also means I can't play as hardcore as I used to. I'm hoping to find a 2 nights a week raiding group, starting around 8pm EST (any days would work at that time). I would be able to be pretty darn reliable with that kind of schedule. I'm a bit rusty with the pvp but used to adore it back in Shadowbane and early WoW days. I might be interested in getting back into that as well. When I find the right guild, I get very involved. I am a forum junkie, and happy to help out in game however I can.
I have played only a little bit of WildStar in closed and open beta, because I didn't want to get tired of it. I am not sure yet what I will be playing, but probably Esper, Spellslinger, or Engineer. I am hopefully going to figure that out before early access.
Let me know if I sound like a good fit or not!
Thanks,
Kestrel
