Hello everyone.
My name is Kane. I'm a bit of an older fart at 42. I work in the oncology field. Married (the wife will be a member soon too, she's working tonight). We have 2 kids ages 15 and 13. Three if you count the dog. We currently live in the dirty south, but I would love to make it back to Portland, Oregon some day if the right opportunity presents itself.
I have been playing MMO's since EQ2. Did WoW up until TBC. Was kinda raidy, mostly casual. Did LOTRO. Warhammer. Rift. SWTOR. GW2. Back to Rift (did not like GW2, heh). Tried a little CoH/CoV, Tera, FFXIV, etc etc. I'm pretty casual, tbh. I can get into raiding. But if it's a huge commitment it just turns me off. And pvp is hit or miss with me. I'm not that great at pvp (wasnt bad in Warhammer though) but you give me a zerg and I will ride that wave like nobodies business.
Really though, just give me and the missus a decent community and some fun, stress free time sinks at end game and I am sold. Finding that hasnt been easy though. The community part hasnt been a problem. Just end game.
My wife and I are coming to you guys from Gaiscioch and Philanthropy. So seeing the grand scale of the guild and it's core values made Grievance a very quick sell. I already feel like I am home and I haven't done more than read the recruiting post and guild charter.
Looking forward to whatever is to come. Thank you all for the invitation!
