Cullucut - Exile

Post by Cullucut » Sun May 18, 2014 1:40 pm

Greetings,

I am a newcomer to both Wildstar and Grievance. I've been playing the open beta for a week, and have been really enjoying myself. Although I have been playing MMOs since the Ultima Online days, the birth of my second child has given me reason to take the past year off from any game that doesn't have a "pause" button. Now that things have stabilized on the home front(by which I mean everyone is getting enough sleep again), I would like to get back into some good multiplayer gaming.

Although I have played most everything, the vast majority of my MMO time has been spent in the original Everquest and then Worlds of Warcraft. Honestly I often find that the game you are playing is less important than the people with whom you are playing. Thus my search for a friendly Wildstar guild, which has led me here.

On a personal note, I am 43 years old, married, have two children, and a dog(so really three children). It is likely that my wife will be joining me in Wildstar in the near future. My normal playtime is after 8:30pm CST, but I can usually swing a couple of nights of playing a bit earlier for planned activities. While my focus is generally PVE, especially raiding, I'm not adverse to some mild PvP activity on occasion.

I am undecided on class and path at this time. I usually play a sneaky stabby rogue type, so probably dps stalker is for me. But I really enjoyed the spellslinger as well, so I may have to flip a coin.

Thanks for your time!

Welcome to the Grievance family. Grats on things settling down. If your wife would like to play. Have her apply like you did and then we can tell her all about our Gamer Girls chapter.

Welcome to the family!! :)

Glad you decided to join us. We would really love to have your wife join as well..We have several ladies in the Exile guild, but would love to have a few more hanging out with us! Just be sure she also registers and posts an intro so we can get to know her, too! :)
