App for the guild

Hi!

I'm a 46 year old single guy that's a transplanted Michigander currently located in Los Alamos, NM. My first MMO was WOW and I started playing around February 2005 after being talked into it by a couple of coworkers. I loved the game and was in awe when I first saw Darnassus and Ironforge. I continued with the game through Cataclysm but didn't do any raiding after WOTLK and quit shortly after reaching max level in Cataclysm. The game and class changes combined with a toxic community and a guild atmosphere that cared more about pixels than people at that stage just made me quit and not look back.

I've since played LOTRO, Rift, TERA, GW2, vanilla WOW on therebirth.net, and now the Wildstar beta. I'm currently playing on Olyssia so probably won't see any of you in game until live since you guys are on Nexus unless I start another character. I've already got one of each class to about level 15 with a mix of Dominion and Exiles. I usually pick a ranged dps class like the spellslinger or esper but think I might go medic this time. I'm leaning towards Exiles as the faction of choice.

I'm interested in Grievance because you seem to be more of a family oriented guild but still large enough, experienced enough, and organized enough to do successful endgame raids. I'd also like to be able to do 5-man dungeons in guild with people I like and not having to encounter every douchebag on the server via pugs. I read your guild charter, listened to the 2014 state of grievance and the Neverwitner audiocast, and you sound like a great group of people that would be fun to game with.

If you have any questions -- just ask!

Welcome to the family! Glad you found us!

I, too started my MMO career in WoW, but have played several since my first character back in the beginning of BC. I still play that same character today actually. However, I only have 9 days left on my current sub. You will find with Grievance all that you spoke negatively about the other game will not happen here. I think that is what kept me going back to WoW, was the people I played with. :)

With that being said, we are really excited for the launch of Wildstar and can not wait to get on Nexus and get our real characters leveled and progressing through all of the content they have to offer. This is the first time in a very long time that I have let myself get excited for a new mmo. High hopes for this game, I really think it is going to do amazing!

When you get a moment, head on up to the bard index and grab our teamspeak information! Hop on and chat with us when you can!

I look forward to meeting you, and see you on Nexus!

NM was a planned change. I listed the things I didn't like about MI climate wise and sought out the opposite in a lot of ways and came up with NM. I started out in the southern part of the state in Las Cruces working at the NASA complex there but changed jobs two years ago and am now in Los Alamos. It's not quite as drastic of a change as Las Cruces because of the altitude - 7,300 feet -- but is still a lot milder climate than MI.

Looking forward to playing Wildstar with you guys!
