Alopeix - Exile Warrior or Medic

Hello everyone!
My name is Kate and I'm looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of you. I'm 37 and I hail from the home of Wayne Gretzky (aka Brantford, Ontario.) My husband (Enygmatik) has also just recently joined and already made his application post.
Like many, I've been gaming from a very young age. I started on consoles and eventually made the move to PC gaming when WoW came out. Over the past decade I've subbed to WoW, Rift, SWTOR, GW2, TERA, FFXIV and soon Wildstar. I've tried a few others along the way as well. I've always played as a tank main up to this point, but Wildstar may change that as I can't quite decide yet whether to make a warrior or medic my main character. If the warrior class had a hand held shield it would be a no-brainer, but we'll see! I'm quickly running out of time to decide.
Outside of MMOs, I like a wide variety of game genres. Lately I've been playing a bit of Diablo 3, Hearthstone, Trials Evolution, Forced and a couple PS3 games.
