Hiya, Grievance!
My name's Keith and I'm a 36 year old Technical Support Engineer and game fanatic. I also do a small bit of amateur electronic music production once in a while when the inspiration strikes. I was born and raised in Georgia, USA and moved up here to Ontario, Canada about five years ago now. I heard about you from Tony (Novatek) who said you were awesome and so I came on over. I'm not alone, though. My wife (Alopeix) is also a game fanatic and has registered as well so you should see her post soon (if you didn't already see it before mine).
My gaming history begins back with the Atari 2600 my parents purchased for themselves mostly and we got some time when they weren't fighting each other in Lock 'N Chase or Frogs and Flies. My first game obsession was Frogger but it's just continued my whole life. I got into MMORPGs with WoW back in 2005 with limited PC gaming under my belt at that time since I was dedicated to consoles (mostly for financial reasons). Since then I've tried CoH, RIFT, DCUO, GW2, TERA, SWTOR, FFXIV, with subs to a few of those as well. I've also become far more of a PC gamer with 500-600 hours each into Borderlands 2 and Diablo 3 among many hours throughout my Steam library. I still have a PS3, Xbox 360 and a Wii but usually stay behind a generation and only pick up the games that seem really great that don't have a PC port.
I've been following Wildstar since 2011 and I'm super excited for release. I'm trying really hard to stay away from too much in beta, though, to prevent burnout (which I admit is a problem for me sometimes). I did level everything to level 4 this time around, though, so I can at least try to settle on a main. I was leaning towards Medic but Engineer is really striking a chord with me. They're both super fun, though, so it'll be a last minute decision.
Looking forward to playing in-game with you guys, though! Thanks!
