NoahNova - Exile DPS Engineer

Post by NoahNova » Tue Apr 22, 2014 4:13 pm

Hi! I will be playing as NoahNova - or just Noah if I can get the name. :D I participated in the beta this weekend and tested out all the different classes, both factions, and most races. I have decided I want to be a DPS engineer in the Exile faction. Yay for robots!

I found Grievance by reading the guild postings on the main WildStar forum. I like that Grievance is more casual than some of the hardcore raiding guilds that were posting. I eventually want to do raiding and stuff, but don't need to be world first or anything. I will be available to play around 3 PM to 8 PM CST on on most weekdays and during the day on the weekends. I am curious. Is there a raiding schedule set yet?

I am also interesting in grouping to do PVE content throughout the leveling process and maybe even some PVP!

Hey Noah! Glad you found us! :)

As for the raid schedule, it is not set yet. However, raid times will almost always start anywhere from 7:30-8pm cst and most likely 3 nights a week. Just need to figure out what nights that will be! :)
From your post it looks like you will be logging out around 8pm cst, so not sure how that will work with our raid times. Again, times are not set in stone, but with 20 man raids there is going to need to be a bit of consitancy to have any progression, I would guess anyway. Also, if we are raiding 3 nights a week, that does not mean you have to be here to run every raid....You can choose 1 or 2 nights to be availble, as well as all 3 (of course, that is if we do indeed end up with 3 nights of raiding hehe, I am using examples here)

What you can do is log onto teamspeak and chat with us on there this coming weekend. You can find the information under the board index in important grievance info. :)

Look forward to meeting you!

Have you played any other MMO's over the years?

Hmm. Thanks for the information. I guess it depends on how long the raids last. 1 hour, 2 hours, 3?

And yeah I've played a ton of MMOs before, mostly freely ones. I've highlighted the ones where I've really enjoyed the combat.

-Allods Online
-Atlantica Online
-Awesomenauts
-Blacklight Retribution
-Combat Arms
-Dark Orbit
-District 187
-Dragon Nest
-Dungeon Fighter Online
-Elsword
-Elder Scrolls Online
-Epic Duel
-EverQuest Landmark
-Ether Saga Online
-Exteel
-Firefall
-Forsaken World
-Global Agenda
-Guild Wars 2
-Hawken
-Jade Dynasty
-MapleStory
-Neverwinter
-Path of Exile
-Perfect World
-RaiderZ
-Rift
-Runescape
-Silkroad Online
-SMITE
-Star Wars: The Old Republic
-TERA
-Tribes Ascend
-Vindictus
-War of the Immortals
-Warframe
-WildStar!
-Wizardry Online

Probably more that I don't remember.

Thats quite a list! :) I must say, I really enjoyed Neverwinters combat as well. I just didn't play it very long for some reason. :)

Neverwinter was great until the level cap when it got really grindy. Overall, I think great combat really makes a game. I love the combat in WildStar so I think I'll be around for a while.
