Allow myself to introduce ... myself

Good day to you all. I found your thread in the Wildstar forums, and based upon the many posts I have read, Grievance seems to be a very friendly and well run organization. I am old and can do without a 13 year old kid telling me to do unspeakable things to my dead mother. I am the same "person" online as I am IRL ... I do not treat people poorly simply because of the veil of anonymity the internet provides. I am a 42 year old USMC vet who has not, nor ever will fully "grow up" (i.e. i am currently engaged in a fierce mustache competition that has my wife refusing to be seen with me in public).
My wife and I played DAoC briefly then switched to WoW from open beta through cataclysm. We were very fortunate to be in a guild that became very much like family ... nearly 60 of them came to our wedding where we met them for the first time in person .... it may have been only because we got married in Vegas though ...
Anyhow, since I stopped playing WoW I have been waiting for something to come out that I could really get into, and I am hoping that Wildstar is the ticket. I tried GW2 (played for 2 weeks) I tried SWTOR, which I really liked and played for a couple months but got bored of playing solo and quit.
I haven't played anything except LoL and golf (actual golf) for 2 years plus. I'm ready, willing, and able to spend way more time than any self-respecting adult should even consider on a video game, but I want to play it from the day it launches, and with a good group of people.
Flay
p.s. The Zippity i see in here .... wouldn't happen to be the same zippity from Arizona who played DAoC and power leveled a BigUglyDude with his bard would it?
