Hi Grievance! My name is Jason, but I usually go by Feyne online. Thing is, I keep finding Feyne already in use in games that I start late, so I use Von Corsa as a forum name alot (that name is a character in a novel I've been working on for a long time and will probably never see the light of day, so it's usually safely not in use).

Regardless, Von Corsa is what I shall go by!

My history with games is often solo, with my first big MMORPG being WoW Vanilla. Prior to that I was in Diablo II online, but I don't really count that as an actual MMORPG, as I feel an MMO should have at least a rudimentary social aspect to it. Diablo II was a lot of fun, don't get me wrong, I just never felt as if socializing and creating guilds was a defined aspect of gameplay.

Outside of that though, I briefly played Hellgate London, Aion, SWTOR, and have been back and forth in WoW alot. I play my xbox and am currently working my way through some games I mainly picked up for achievement points more than anything. I enjoy FPS, but to be blunt, my love is for good solid storytelling. RPGs are usually my favorites, and I'll even go so far as to defend Dragon Age 2 as a damn good game (yes, you totally read that right). Action games like Darksiders 1 and 2 as well as Dante's inferno were great, and I absolutely loved the control scheme in Space Marine (Some of the most fluid gameplay and best control layout I think I've run into actually, and I honestly wish the industry as a whole had given that game more credit for it). I've been playing since Atari was first out as a kid, so the sheer gamut of games I've played is horrendous, probably the major reason I never quite became an astronaut. Or a Fireman. Or a Police Officer. Orrr..... well alot of things. Man, I love games.

Outside of that I love reading scifi and fantasy, some horror and some manga. I really enjoy anime too. I collect movies, though the ones I love best are usually the B grade titles. I can only watch a AAA movie so many times before I get a little tired of it. You take a good B grade film however, and you can just laugh and laugh forever. The sheer absurdity of some films actually puts them square on the map for me. Think Bubba Hotep, and you'll understand where I'm coming from immediately.

Hrmm. What else can I say about myself? I'm just onboard looking for that next great adventure. A long time ago, WoW introduced me to how great community can be when you're a part of something bigger than yourself, when you can triumph as a team and enjoy the fruits of your efforts together. I love exploring and learning and generally experiencing new things, from content to visuals, and while I've often done many of those things on my own, it's always a little lonely when I start a new game until I meet people. A gaming community spanning multiple titles may very well be the best way to ease that longing you have to share things with others. I'm kind of an entertainment sponge. If I'm going to soak things up somewhere new, I'd really love to do that with people that are like me.

So I guess that's me in a nutshell. I mean, obviously, I'm slightly deeper than a cakepan, but I have to talk with people and get to know them some to know much more than the basics. I'm excited about Wildstar and I know you guys are too. Here's hoping that it's a really great experience :D

Thanks very much! I'm still sort of wandering around reading in the forums, but once I figure out where the teamspeak stuff is, I'll happily join in. Been awhile since I've used my mic though, so apologies in advance if I'm quiet. I'll have to set it up again :D
