Just a little bit about myself, my real name is John and I am 30 yrs old and I live up in Maine. If I am not playing a game, then there is a good chance I am reading an article on something to do with the gaming world or trying to learn something about gaming. As of recently I've been fiddling about with 3D modeling, though I am still very much in the learning processes. I also like custom motorcycle's, and I have a cat who's hobbies include blocking my monitor while i'm trying to type this, along with sitting on my mouse cord so I can't move it.
A little about my gaming back ground, to be honest it kind of covers all corners of it. I started on consoles, back with a Atari 2600, my first computer was a Macintosh 128k. I enjoy pretty much any kind of game as long as it can hold my attention and has decent mechanics, I have always been a sucker for a good story also even if the game isn't that great. As far as MMO's go, I've played a few. Lotro, Swtor, AoC, CoH, Aion, GW, GW2, STO, NW. The most current I've been playing in are Rift and Defiance, I have also been spending a fair amount of time in Arma 3.
As to Wildstar in general, I am not sure what faction I want to go with. Most likely that will be decided at character creation along with race. Depending on what the last two classes are going to be I am still technically undecided, but if I had to choose now I'll most likely be a warrior. I like to tank and be up in peoples faces, but I do enjoy healing as well. All the path's look interesting, but if I am to be honest again I'll probably go with soldier. Some of the things I am looking forward to would be raiding, 40 man nuff said. Also war plots, I do like me some big PvP battles. Of course all of that is made even more fun when you have friends to do it all with, which is why I am here.
