To the members of Grievance:

I posted a "Looking for Guild" thread on Wildstar Central forums and after a number of responses, and a nice back and forth message conversation with Steelheart, I have come to the conclusion that Grievance would be the best fit. Not only for me, but just as important - I hope, for Grievance.

I'm not sure how detailed of an introduction is needed but I feel like (from reading your recruiting posts) this is a more family oriented guild. Family - Loyalty - Honor. So with that in mind, I will be as open as possible. If your only interested in my gaming history then skip to the last paragraph or so

My name is Tim Harlow. I'm 39 years old and live outside of New York City with my wife, Antonietta, and two boys. Joe is 9 and Jay is 7.

Many moons ago I graduated high school in a small town outside of Tampa, Florida. The day after high school I left for basic training in the U.S. Army. I spent over five years active duty Army stationed overseas in Germany and Italy as well as stateside at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. I was in Provide Hope, Dragon Hammer & Deny Flight (Bosnia). My MOS was Radio and Communications Security Equipment Repairer (35E).

In 1997 I was recruited into another government agency, where I've been ever since. I was given the choice of Washington D.C. or New York City. Being a single guy of around 23 at the time I chose NYC. I met my now wife in 1999 (This is roughly the same time I started getting into MMO gaming). I was doing work in mid-town Manhattan and I would see her in the same deli just about everyday of that week for lunch. At the end of the week my project was done and I was afraid I wouldn't see her again so I had to ask for her number. She gave me her office number

We talked on the phone during work for about a week before she gave me her real number and finally I was able to convince her to meet me after work for a date. I sent her a ticket to the Empire States Building Observation Deck (cliche maybe?). It was a Wednesday night and as the story goes I waited up there for a few hours on the outside when I turned around ready to leave she was on the other side of the glass....... I swear I'm not making this poopoo up.

We walked all over the city and had a nice dinner. I took the subway with her and walked her home to make sure she got in alright. Looked at the watch and it was nearly 3 a.m. Her parents didn't talk to me for nearly two years after that. Fast forward fourteen years later and we just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary last year and have two beautiful boys (who are gamers as well by the way - it's in the blood).

I live on Long Island, New York but we're looking to move back to Queens as this commute has been kicking my ass for about five+ years. Besides MMO gaming, I enjoy watching UFC/MMA, I like chess and I brew my own beer and wine. My love of craft beer naturally drove me into the home-brewing hobby as well. As my wife says, once I get into something I put my full effort into it. Many moons ago I studied Muay Thai kickboxing under "Coban" Lookchaomaesaitong (7 time world champion). I studied chess under Susan Polgar (prodigy under Bobby Fisher and first woman world champion). No worries though, now I'm fat and my 9 year old can probably beat me in chess...... but my beer is delicious.

Gaming History: Anarchy Online > World of Warcraft > Warhammer > Aion > Star Wars Old Republic > The Secret World > Guild Wars 2 > Just downloaded Neverwinter. In addition to those listed I have played in probably dozens of betas. I have played in hardcore top tier raiding guilds for many years. But as has been mentioned - I'm near 40 now, married, two kids, full time job with an ass of a commute. I don't have time to play 24/7 anymore but the time that I am playing is spent playing the only way I know how - I put 100% into everything I do. I know I can be an asset to this guild as you progress through Wildstar content and hope to become a valuable member of the Grievance family.

I hope that after reading my introduction that you feel I meet your moto: Family - Loyalty - Honor

I look forward to playing with you all soon.

Warmest Regards,

Tim Harlow

Welcome Tim!

When you get a chance, Stop by the Team Speak server and stop by either the Bar and Grill Lounge, Wildstar Discussion channel, or another game lounge (whichever you are playing). You'll be able to find the information when your account goes recruit status.

Wow! What an amazing app!

Thanks for the detail there Tim! Do you get along with her parents now???? Hope so lol.

Welcome to Grievance! Jump in Teamspeak sometime, there are plenty of folk to talk to. Can't wait to meet you in Wildstar. What faction do you think is going to be your main?

Thanks Everyone !!! Yeah, I'm trying to locate the Teamspeak info now.

P.S. Yeah, it took them a while LOL, but it's been 14 years. Funny story is first time I went to pick Ant up I was wearing a tank top (I have seven tattoos from my Army days). The old Italian lady sweeping the stairs when I walked up to the house did not look happy to see me at all. Hehe - She treats me like her own son now.

Oh, and I plan on rolling Dominion side for my main.

Nice app, my wife's parents keep reminding her she's lucky to have me and to not screw it up. I think I'd actually prefer it if they didn't want me around so much~
