Diggler's Intro
First of all, thanks for the invitation to the forums & the private messages on Wildstar-Central that have lead me to this site.
A little about me first.
My name is Steve. SteveDiggler is my alter ego in gaming, realized early in life, yet appropriately coined once I had seen the movie Boogie Nights. But anyways..
I'm 25 years old. I live in Southern California. I've been married for almost a year now to my dream girl for many reasons, the most relevant being she loves & accepts the nerd deep within me.
I work 40 hours a week, maintain a healthy social life, and accommodate many demands throughout my daily life including school, career progression, and those of my wife, of course.
When I'm not taking care of business, I'm playing video games. no question about it.
My personal game experience would include Dark Age of Camelot (3 years), World of Warcraft (4 years), Warhammer Online, DC Universe, & several console games not worth mentioning. The greatest moments I can recall in my experiences with MMORPGs have always been with a casual, fun-loving guild that, when required, can accomplish anything, but doesn't come with the strict enforcement that some guilds do. I don't like calling gaming an escape from life, but it's certainly an escape from the work place & it's drama. Grievance's mission statement, if you will, fits me perfectly.
In DAOC, as a Hibernian Elf Eldritch, I have only the fondest of memories recalling my times spent in RvR & Darkness Falls. This was truly my most cherished gaming experience. In WoW, I played from release through WotLK, and simply lost interest in the game direction before Cataclysm's announcement. I had spent over 4 years playing the game, experiencing everything that it had to offer, and enjoying the progression of end game & raid difficulty, but had finally burned out.
In my prime, when life didn't come with so many demands, I achieved some of the greatest heights when it comes to game progression, as well as achieving great heights as far as my personal enjoyment. Although I do enjoy to occasionally play some Call of Duty or MLB the Show after a long day, there is truly nothing I enjoy more than an MMORPG that can provide the complete experience to keep me entertained for months & months (Don't tell my wife, I'll deny every word). Console games are seen a filler until something that grabs my attention pulls me back into the MMORPG scene. Hasn't happened for a while, but Wildstar grabbed me about 6 weeks ago, and is still dragging me along to the release. I can't remember the last time I was this excited for a particular game.
My vision for what Wildstar will mean to me is simple. Fun. I want to enjoy leveling, enjoy pvp'ing, and put my best effort into raiding without neglecting other important aspects of my life that demand attention... like my wife... as this would inevitably result in the kind of mid raid agro I don't want to put people who are counting on me through! Joking aside, there's no gaming experience better than playing MMORPGs within an organization that dramatically increases the potential for good times, and that's what I'm looking for. Experience Wildstar to it's fullest with a group of players I've gotten to know, and kicking some opposition's butt on the journey.
My intentions on which faction, race, class, and path have been set based on what is known now, but it's more important to me to be part of a Wildstar community, like Grievance, and to be in a position to enjoy the game's launch and progression through it's unexplored and widely unknown content as part of a team.
For now, I like Exile Human Esper/Settler on a PvP server. I'm no stranger to alts, but have a reputation for focusing on my primary/main character's progression until reaching max level.
With that said, thank you for reading. I'm looking forward to participating in the many discussions within these forums to get to know Grievance's community of players much more, as well as share my excitement for the coming of Wildstar.

Welcome Steve!
You will find that we have a nice diverse group when it comes with play styles, yet each one of us is here to enjoy the game(s) that we play with the folks we play with.
