I guess I'd fall into the category of "older" gamers, but I haven't been playing MMO's for that long.
My ex got me into WoW in 2009 when he got addicted and I felt like I'd never see him if I didn't play. Who knew that over 5 years later I'd still be playing... and he isn't.

That's really my only MMO experience, except I've also played GW2 for a while when it first came out - but I lost interest after about a year of the same stuff over and over.
My main toons are healers- I have a Resto Shaman and Holy Paladin that I still raid with in WoW. I'm looking forward to getting more into the healing in Wildstar, it feels like it will be dynamic and fun. I've played in a couple of beta weekends and now in the open beta, but I keep making new characters... so I haven't gotten past 15 on any of them yet.

I'm not a big PUG'er, I much prefer to run dungeons and raids with a guild group of people I know. I could also be convinced to try the group PVP although I don't have much experience with that.
Me personally? I live in Northern CA with my extended family and my 2 dogs. I work from home and make sure I leave enough hours in my day for some gaming. I'm mostly online early mornings and later evenings, except on raid nights- then it could be all hours.

I'm looking for a larger guild with active members who actually talk to each other.
I take my gaming seriously enough that I want to progress through content but not so seriously that it's like a job.
bacon.
see you on Nexus!
