Although the TS channel doesn't see much traffic, there are a few of us that hop in there and check out the updates. hang out in the channel and I'm sure someone will join you. (We usually build near the dam, not sure where the current base is).

Just started playing again to check it out. Found an Ak-47 and Ar-15 early on. Almost got eaten by a bear. Found duct tape!

Still have to see how they've tweaked it.
