I just hope they add that stuff to the basic ui

I agree that I want to be able to at least see percentages and numbers for health and damage done/taken. I would also like to see buffs/debuffs to at least my party members, otherwise healing will be a pretty girl.

It looks like the most recent API changes have gutted the entire Addon community. From what I understand you will now only see your damage, damage done to you.

They removed API features:
you can only see your own damage numbers now
you can see how much damage you take, but not what kind of damage ...

Looks like there are some new addons that I would love to try come launch

Scrolling Battle Text
Loot Drop (just in case I go all auto loot)
Gridview Bags
Visual Durability Indicator
Equipment Rarity Border (gots to see dem purps :P )
Improved Experience Bar ( I like being able to see ...

Got my key, and will try out the game this weekend. See how it compares to other games.

Over the weekend I tried multiple addons. I liked FTC the best over all others. I found that the Unity addons were really buggy, making it so I couldn't loot, do damage, interact, etc. I found the multi quest interesting/useful however when you start to gain a lot of quests it took up the whole side ...

Don't forget to try some addons this weekend!
