At this point, I think a good many of us are just waiting for launch. This game is so dependent upon progression, that it dissuades me from playing until I know they are done wiping it. The late game stuff looks cool, but I am not willing to put in all the time to try it out, only to have to start ...

They announced what the compensation plan is for changing CB1 date:

excellent advice! A couple additions; Missions: if you don't get started on the early ones, you won't have enough of a relationship with the factions (Ie: builders, traders, soldiers not sure what they are in game) to do the ones that appear in higher tier areas.
